A number of years ago I came across many old "Ideal" single cavity molds at a gun shop. Apparently the shop owner bought out a widow's husband's belongings. These are old world quality and I bought 7 of them @ $20 each. They are a dream to cast with and produce first class bullets. The molds were: 311281, 311284, 311467, 311413, 308334, 308291, 266469 and Dr. Hudson's 319273. I feel lucky to have them! Bud

Lots of old time target shooters swore by one cavity molds and would mark the nose of them to correspond to a marked case. They could then index the bullets the same way each time. Nice find.

Great find...but...if you ever decide to part with that 311467, I'll buy her sight unseen.

My Dad swore by them and I have several in .30cal and even more in pistol calibers.

I used to Dipper cast BP Projectiles. But I already have more RB's then I'll ever shoot.

So now about once a year, I break out those 1cav molds and cast up enough to load one box of ammo in each caliber I have a mold for.

I have a couple of old one cavity Ideal molds that I won't part with. It looks like you got the full range of known 30 cal molds that really work. Plus some others.

Nice! I also looking sometimes from eBay those old Ideal molds. Got 4-5 those and heck those cast's better than some my "new" molds. And checking from this site...

Some people ask insane price for molds on eBay and sometimes you get good deals.

Yep, seems like ebay operates in the goofy zone of human behavior. If I see a mold of interest I post my bid and don't bother looking again, deleting the emails.
