It wasn't with a boolit since it is still bow season (125grn. Grim Reaper razorcut) but I am just as tickled. 180# Field dressed. The land has been in my faimily since the 1850's. November 21 is gun season and a Bisley .44 with a boolit and I will be in the woods looking for a longhead doe.
Congratulations, Thumbcocker ! When you get them with the bow, you know you earned it. Nice buck!

Good Job ! Nothing like sitting in the bushes and lauching a razorheaded shaft at a corn muncher ! I use a recurve in Danville area when we are up there.

Good job, I've missed 7 deer so far this season with my bow. Trigs, over, under & limb hitting the bar across the stand, you name it, it's gone wrong for me.
Finally hit one yesterday, it lunged forward at the shot - jumping the string - hit it pretty far back. Tracked it 300 yards (3 hours last night), after dogs jumped it off it's bed (I was letting it bleed out). Went back today & spent all day looking for it - no dice.
You got a nice one - great job.
