Cimarron 92 handguard moves under recoil

Looking to modify my 92 to stop the handguard from moving forward under recoil. Shooting some hotter loads so I need a little more than just the front barrel band screw to hold the handguard in place.

You can try shimming the band so that it grips the fore stock more tightly.
