For those of you who have purchased our loading, lube and speedloader blocks and want a simple and easy way to store them so they stay clean and undamaged from just banging around on the loading bench here ya go.

50 CALIBER AMMO BOXES FROM HARBOR FREIGHT

I test fitted out the ammo cans I have, which is to say the one's I got from Harbor Freight. As you can see on the top right corner of the label that comes on the can it is stock number #63181

It fits perfectly 5 of the 1" thick blocks on edge, and 7 if laid flat. That is the size of the block we use for the Lube block and of the shotgun and rifle blocks.

The handgun caliber loading, and Speedloader blocks are 3/4" thick blocks and the ammo can will hold 7 on edge or 9 laid flat.

All of our blocks are the same in width and length. Currently the only dimension that is different is the thickness.

The 50 caliber cans keep the blocks clean and damage free from loading bench accidents when not in use.

Use to buy the 30 and 50 cal cans on pallets. Have a lot of the 30, 50 and fat 50's I use for storing brass, loaded ammunition and taking to the range when I go shoot. They are great and cheap if you buy them in bulk.

I use .30cal ammo boxes to store our bulk load ammunition. One or two cans for each caliber depending on how many rounds I have stockpiled. Have one can for 9mm, 10mm, .357Mag, .41Mag, .44Spl, .45Colt, .45ACP and .44Mag general purpose/plinking/target rounds. Don't currently have a dedicated ammo can for .45AutoRim, .38Spl or .40S&W. Just don't shoot enough in those calibers this year to justify a dedicated can. A couple or three 100 round plastic cartridge cases for each is sufficient at this time. Same for rifle ammuntion plus I segregate my rifle brass by manufacturer. The only rifle we shoot in large numbers is .223 and 7.62x39 and most the .223 is preloaded into magazines. We don't reload 7.62x39 because steel cased loaded ammuntion is so inexpensive to buy.
