I'm a Savage 99 fan, so main levers for me.

I do have a rather soft spot for waffle top Marlins and have a couple, oddly, none in .30-30.

A very beat up '70s vintage 94 Winchester resides in the rack ready to go. Got it cheap years ago, someone put one of those awful side scope mounts on it. It is a good shooter, though, cast and jacketed.

As retired military been brainwashed to Simi & automatic weapons. But recently this year been buying bolt actions and pumps which seem to delay the consideration of marksmanship placement and save ammunition. This week I picked up a new Rossi M92 lever in 44Mag in 16" barrel. I mean if your going to buy a carbine might as well enhance its purpose shorter rather that 4 inches longer with a 22" barrel. Ballistically your not gaining or losing much with a longer barrel in 44Mag but gaining allot more in handling with the 16" barrel IMO.

Well- what in the world is that Erma doing there?

inherited it in me Dad's stuff - he took it in trade years ago when they had the LGS in town - a wreck when I got it - I fixed it up nice - reblued the metal, glued the barrel back in straight, junk action was all worn, I drilled the old pivot holes off centre and steel bushed the action body, new oversized pivot pin, made a new tension spring and plunger for the lifter, its a really cool little carbine -- no mystery why people loved these things and shot them to death - will be my snake gun this summer - it cycles 22 ratshot perfect.

My pride and joy is a Winchester Model 1885 Miroku in 50-90 Sharps. Then there is a Marlin 336 Cowboy with an octagonal barrel of 30" in length in 38-55 Winchester. A Winchester 94 in 30-30 completes the small collection. I am seriously considering a Henry in 327 Federal Magnum caliber to go with my Ruger Blackhawk in 327 Fed Mag and my CA Patriot 2.5" bbl SS snubbie also in 327 Mag.

The .25-20 is the most fun to shoot, but boy is it pricy to pull the trigger. The .25-35 a close second. The .25-35 has history in my town - was a pretty well known hunters mountain lion gun. The stories go that it's got a truck bed full of mountain lions over its lifetime.

Henry H001 .22 Magnum & Henry H004 Golden Boy .22 LR.

1982 Marlin 1894C .357
1967 Marlin Glenfield 30 .30-30
1976 Marlin 336 Texan .30-30
1978 Winchester 94 .30-30
1984 Winchester 94 .30-30
1993 Browning BLR-81 .308
2000-something Mossberg 464 .30-30
2010 Henry H001T .22 LR

Hope to add a .38-55 and/or .45-70 soon. Also, I think a Winchester 92/Marlin 1894 size carbine in .40 S&W would be too much fun!

Nowhere near as nice as shrapnel’s items but in leverguns only, 48 with the acquisition of a 1971 444 on Black Friday.

Just Savages. Mostly takedowns.

1899H- eight, .22HP, .303, .30-30- all pre-WWI.
M.250-3000 (1918 vintage)
99G- three, .250, .300, and .30-30- all pre-1926.
99T- .300- 1939 vintage.

I like Savage 99's.

I’ve owned more in the past, but right now:

Winchester M94 built in 1955 in .30-30. Had it rebored to .38-55 by P. O. Ackley.
Winchester M94 Trapper in .45LC
Marlin M1894CL in .25-20

All great cast bullet rifles.

Nearly left one out! This gal will nearly hold minute of barn at 50 paces. But it definitely has that unique factor.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191210/04820ff947e296d7fd2d68d2c6394434.jpg

cwtebay, What is it?It's a Daisy V/L. It shoots caseless ammunition by igniting the charge behind the bullet with hot compressed air. Kind of a cool system in theory. Unfortunately, I believe that the ATF had a slightly different opinion on what could be designated as air powered, and it was discontinued after a very short production period. The air chamber is charged with a lever though! So I figured it belonged here.

Thanks for letting me know. I've heard of that but only in passing. Not seen pictures or read on it any.
