Cimmaron S&W Russian Site Question.

I have read that these tend to shoot way high, due to the rigid adherence in copying the appearance of the originals and the consequent low front sight. My question is, does Uberti pin the sight blade or is it integral with the barrel.

Looking at the images on a Jeff Quinn video and Cimmaron's site it appears to NOT have a pinned front blade.( Cue Debbie Downer music)....

Good news!! According to the parts diagram at VTI Gun Parts (https://www.vtigunparts.com/store/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=35&cat=Uberti+Schofield), the front sight is pinned and replaceable.

Ah, that was what I had hoped for, I've a hankering for one of these in either 38 or 44 Special but I don't care for guns that strongly differ from my opinion as to where the shots go.

They are sighted for center of bad guy. Hold on center of mass all the way out to 100yds. Set up some silly wets and see..........
