I picked this rifle up awhile ago in a trade and was just wondering if anyone had a manual they could copy and send me. I know, it's not a traditional!

I can’t help you with a manual but just want to say that’s a classy looking
front stuffer.

I take it back, here’s a link to an A&H owner’s manual:

Thanks. I searched a few times and never saw that link. Go figure!

I have the stained Maple Austin Halleck pictured. Quality is exceptional. My rifle is the .45 magnum. Very accurate with 120 gr 777 and the Hornady 200 gr SST sabot. Disassembly for cleaning is not as handy as the newer rifles. Care must be used to re set the cocking piece gap as per the instructions upon assembly or miss fires could result. Great rifles though. I think you will appreciate it.

I'm looking forward to trying her out. Am I correct in understanding some of these rifles from factory are set up for 209 primers while earlier guns use #11 caps? I haven't even checked this one yet.

Edit: Just dug it out and had a look. Mine is set up for #11 caps. So I will order a 209 conversion kit .
