Same for us here in Tennessee! Good luck everyone, and shoot well!
Oh, this year I am going to hunt with my new M99 in 250-3000! Even has a scope on it and (gasp) Speer hotcores! Want to get one with the original loading, got a bullet mold in the mail for later in the season. Will get some revolver time in as well.

Hi...
Rifle season for antlered bucks starts next weekend here in Pennsylvania.
Bear season begins tomorrow...I am sitting out bear season this year...just not sure I can do the hiking over broken ground after dealing with over a foot of snow on opening day of bear season last year.
I will be going to the northern part of the state for opening day of buck season next weekend.
Using a 7mmMag this year as I have for the last 20 or so years. Lots of big open clearings and blue berry flats where I hunt so I appreciate the flat trajectory and long range accuracy of my 7mmMag.
I used to hunt with a .30/06 but my synthetic stocked 7mmMag is noticeably lighter which is important to me as I age and my health deteriorated. Less weight means I can hunt longer without tiring out.
Hard adjustment for a guy that used to hike in between 5-10 miles to hunt away from the crowds.

Hope everyone, a safe and successful hunt. I am carrying my Magnum Research BFR 30/30, but also have, in my fathers' memory, his Savage 1899 lever action 30/30, with the old Weaver scope. We lost him, this year in June, and this will be my first deer hunt, without him. He was 95 years old. Here's to bagging that 16 pointer! Enjoy everyone.
