Dad wants to shoot his Winchester 1876 in 45/60 again
As I understand it , I can trim 45/70 brass
So I will just trim some of my "Short" Hornady brass .... and trim it enough to seat the bullet so I can use the crimp grove
I have a 300 gr plain base bullet , so I will be able to load what was factory loaded years back
But dad wants a safe smokeless load
So I will ask , what would be a safe starting load
LOL I have way to many powders , so I should have or can get it
Thanks
John
