I am looking for a ar15 barrel in 9x39 16inches long for my ar15, I have found a blank with a 10 twist in 9x39. It can be seen here http://www.gmriflebarrel.com/9x39-blank-raw-barrel-blank-17-5x1-25-41v50-steel/

Is this just wishful thinking?

You gonna buy the reamer and HS gauges? Those are gonna cost more than the smithing.

Kak industries has pistol barrels available up to 10.5", if you pin and weld a long flash hider on there to get it to 16" that is the cheapest way to go. Or just build/buy a pistol lower and upper. Setting up a barrel from that blank is probably a $350 proposition.

didnt think of pinning a long flash hider on. Ive paid $500 for a barrel before, $350 is not that much, I could sell the reamer and HS gauges afterwards.

Try Bear Creek Arsenal. They are always sending me emails, with various offers.

You can rechamber a .350 Legend barrel if you’re happy with the bore and twist or Maybe call JES about re- boring a 7.62x39 barrel to .358 x39 for a better choice. Now I’m going hmm. OR is the 9x39 a Russian 9.3mm x39 actually?

It's a actual 9.3x39

.366 diameter bullets. Arsenal molds could scale up any 35cal mold to the correct diameter, this would let them work in the 9x39. I believe that they dont charge extra for this service. Actually getting to email you back about it, is very difficult it seems.

What size bullet does the 350 legend use?

Anyone knows who sells 9x39 dies other than the $130 Redding set sold by KAK?
