He kind of bought it out from under me. Dang it!
A friend of his was having an estate sale since his Dad passed and was selling off all his guns. He had this one listed with a bad barrel.
It has a scope base on it and the barrel is bulged. I told him I would give $100 for it as a parts gun if he could get it.
It has a 6 in barrel on it.
I told him we could mount my 2x scope on it and see how it shoots before we get serious about barrel replacement.
That's what I get for being out with the oldest trying to get his first deer instead of shopping. [smilie=l:
