For Auction is a Very Nicely Sporterized Swedish Mauser in 6.5x55 caliber. We took this rifle some time ago as partial payment for other work mostly because we could readily identify the old gunsmith's work. This rifle was built in the 1990s by a great Lancaster County gunsmith who is now gone. Original barrel is 24 1/2" long from breach face to muzzle, target crowned and is in mint condition. Forged original bolt handle, Mark II safety, Timney trigger, contoured trigger guard, drilled and tapped for one-piece Leupold or Redfield base. High-polish blue "to rival a Weatherby" the finisher said. High-gloss finish on the Fajen Sporter stock with Pachmayr White Line recoil pad. We have been out of the gun-trading business too long to know what a rifle like this is worth nowadays so we're doing an auction that will end on Sunday, November 10th at 6:PM EST. Minimum bid is $200. We can accept only a Postal Money order or Cash, and we try to ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. We will split the shipping to your FFL with the buyer.
