How can a Spanish Destroyer barrel be removed? Is it threaded in or pressed in?

I would imagine it is threaded!

It is threaded. I have one removed in my used barrel stash.

I kind of remember that they were made by several manufacturers over several years, and the they came screwed and pinned depending on who made them. If it's pinned you should be able to spot the ends of the pin on the surface of the receiver. If you don't see that, I'd go with screwed in and proceed accordingly.

Thank you all! I will unscrew it and go from there. I have chambered one for the 38/45 pistol round but the bolt was a little hard to lift after firing with a fairly light load so the pressure was too high for it or it will not tolerate a bottleneck round I have 3 of them. I kept one original and chambered one to 38 super and of course the 38/45. Next I will find a barrel and decide what to chamber it to.

Unscrew, be careful the receivers are very soft. I really need to finish my 45 project, so close laying in there in the box. Green Mountain 45 barrel and away you go!
