I picked up a Faxon Glock 17 barrel to permit the use of a suppressor. Along with it, I picked up a Lyman 147 gr mold for subsonic loads. I am having issues getting the two to work together. I am getting a slight ring in the brass when seating the bullets the listed COAL of around 1.050. This is causing stuck cases during chambering. If I increase COAL, even slightly, the bullet is getting shoved into the lands of the barrel. Am I missing something or do I need to send this barrel back to have it reamed?

I have ran the loads in 3-4 of my other 9MM's including the stock Glock barrel and they all function fine.

What size are you sizing them to? I had an issue with an accurate molds 147Y boolit, required very specific sizing and a long expander to work properly.

Barrel needs throating. This will put more freebore in front of the chamber and let you seat out longer. Very common problem, easy fix for a carbide reamer.

I am sizing them to .356, like all my other 9mm projectiles.
