I've watched a few videos on how to reload brass shotgun shells for my .410 using birdshot, but I haven't seen anything for buckshot or a single round ball. I know with birdshot it's powder, a cushion wad, shot and the overshot card, is it similar with buckshot or a large single roundball like a .390"?

David BPI has a great pamphlet Called Making the 410 shoot like a rifle. Lots of round ball loads both 2 1/2 and 3" hulls. The single round ball load uses a lot more Lil Gun than I would have thought. Gp

In the .410 Enfield converted rifle ( or the blown out .303 case) the load makes the .44 Magnum look sick. The round ball will dent AR500 at 25 yards.

I had buddy that loaded 410 buck loads with 38cal balls. He slightly flattened balls in vice to increase diameter and allowed him room for another ball. He didn't hunt with them other than to shoot at coyotes around his house
He had a H&R single FC and they shot tight at 25', one ragged hole.

I always wondered about single ball loads. You may have seen a video I did reloading my brass shells. I shoot slugs in them, but Iwalways wanted to try an old load:
