I just got a Lee Shaver top of the line sight and am anxious to sight it in. To save ammo and frustration will somebody tell me how to adjust windage. Looking at the right side, does rolling the windage knob clockwise move my P.O.I. right ?. I understand about the graduations, but nobody tells you which way to turn it.

The bullet follows the rear sight. Just look at the aperture and see which way it moves when you turn it.

Hi jednorris,
Lee should have included instructions with the sight. On right side of sight, turn clockwise (toward muzzle) to move sight to the right, and counterclockwise to move the sight to the left. Lee makes a great sight. Hope this helps. Ed

Lay it on the table. Sight in on something.

Without moving the rifle, hold your trigger finger up & off to the left side of the receiver, and imagine its the rear sight.
To get a new sight picture, you'll find yourself moving the muzzle (and the point of impact) towards the left also.

I shoot left handed. But it'll work doing it with your right finger also, but point of aim will move right.

It was an older sight and the index marks at the base of the sight were too light to see clearly. I saw Lee's information, but it still did not tell direction of rotation. I have my answer now and thanks to everyone.
