I bought a bunch of reloading stuff today from an old timer and I was lucky enough to get a Hollywood Universal 12 station press in the deal along with other cool things including another H&G #20 mold. Does anyone know what years these monsters were made of have any information on them? Its a real nice press and was maintained great and its like it was when it came out of the box when new. I got a great deal on the things from him and im going to post alot of stuff at a later date when I figure out what I need help with. Alot of the stuff is from the 40', 50's and 60's so its before my time.LOL. Thanks in advance.

pm inbound to you also. I posted in your other thread about the potential of loaing a ch adapter and or shellholder to see if it will work with your press. If it works we could do some trading for it.

I just got one of these 12 holers also. Haven't had time to mess with it, but I think it takes common shellholders. It did come with a bag of some parts. Maybe this weekend I can find some time to mess around with it. My Universal single station is finished in black crinkle paint, and I think an original color, the 12 station is a light gray. does anyone know what the original color would have been?

My dad had both a single as well as a 12 hole turret. They were both black. His 12 hole was one that had a turret for shell holders as well as a 4 position turret for priming . The shell holders had a threaded extension that dropped thru the turret and were held with a nut. I remember visiting Hollywood Gun Shop with my dad, quite a experence.

There is a guy that ferquents the So Cal gun shows that has ther "rights" to the hollywood equipment. I think I have a card around here somewhere. I might have let it go when I sold the press.
