Hello all;
Been lurking for a while and finnaly joined. Lots of good info here.
I have a couple fo 41 mag Rugers that both have .411 bore and cyl. throat. I know that the cyl. throat should be at least .001 over bore size but what if they are the same size? I have some Black River bullets that are .411 and cast of straight WW pushed with 9.5 gr. Unique for a supposedly 1000-1100 fps load. They lead severely.
Should my throats be opened to .412 and if so; where to get it done or buy a tool? Cylindersmith does not do this size.
Or am I pushing them to fast?
Any help appreciated.
