Coming over to Knob Creek next week with 3 shooting mates.
Been over several times since 2003.
We always visit the range after the mg shoot and rent guns and plan on doing the same this time.
Are there any other shooting opportunities in the area that we have missed?
We are all UK NRA Instructors and RCO`s.
Went to Rockcastle last time and had a great day but don't seem to be getting any response to requests at the moment.
We like blowing stuff up!
Cheers,
Tony

One of these days, I hope to get to go to a Knob Creek shoot.
Hopefully.

Been shooting the rifle matches at kcr since the 1980s. A lot of people don't realize there are rifle, shotgun, the national submachine gun matches and pistol matches going on at the various lower ranges. There are also jungles matches where you bring your submachine gun or use their's and go through the trees shooting steel plates. There is a very informal .22 rifles plate matches where you use their rifles. It is aimed at kids but anyone can shoot it. If you get lucky the trash talking between the shooters is just awesome. Saturday and Sunday there is machine gun rental in lower range that is surprisingly reasonable.

I am not from Kaintuck & can't help much, but NO matter what anybody says here..

We all want pics or videos if you do get there & have fun.
;)

Be a damn shame for folks to go there that are members here & not share a bit of the fun they had...

Please do.
:)

Thanks in advance & I sure would like to be there...

Having married a woman from that end of the world.....I can say, with authority, they don't talk much about such things. :P

I go to knob creek every year I only live about 2 hours away so it’s not bad I live in the tristate area of Ohio, West Virginia and Kentucky
