I'll be back to tell the story behind these.

Duke,

Here is a good sight for the Winchester 1895,

http://www.buffaloarms.com/browse.cfm/2,395.html

Not what I have on mine. I have an old Lyman receiver sight my gunsmith adapted to fit.

What I was looking for was one of the ones that mounted on the block itself, still have not found one of those.

You'ld be better off with either the copy of the Lyman 38 sight, or the Lyman 21 (currently made by Peabody arms)
I've used my copy of the Lyman 38 on my 405 to shoot to 800 yds, and still had plenty of adjustment left.

MANY thanks for that link Duke!
That's exactly the style sight I ave been looking for my win 94.
I have a receiver sight on it, but want a ladder type sight to go on it for longer range plinking.
I'll keep the receiver sight on it as well.
