new family member

our new family member we adopted her on Friday I got a call from my wife to meet her at the shelter on my way home from work well I got there first and looked for the dog she was thinking about But it just got adopted well as long as I was there I looked around well i found one that I liked but but my wife's Dog just past so I left it all up to her well she picked out the same one this is Lilly she is a cattle dog Lab mix 10 weeks old my black lab mix and her get along great anyway here she is 248644

Thank you for adopting that sweet puppy. It is a wonderful thing you did and the great thing is you will be the beneficiary with a smart, loyal companion. Cattle dog/lab mixes make great dogs. They are smaller than labs, but the lab makes them where they are not as intense as a cattle dog. If it is a Heeler-Lab mix it is called a Labraheeler. Post pics as she gets older and keep us informed on how she is doing.

In the past 4 days since we got her she has gained over a pound it turned out that my wife goes to church with on of the ladies that work at that shelter told her that the puppy's came from Oklahoma and that the condition there were Terrible

Hardest part about having a pet, is when it's their time to go.
I've had three cats and a dog pass.
Have a cat now. 13 years old.
I'm also getting old.

Yes that's our 4 year old Lab mix she is a sweetheart she does watch our new baby and keeps her in line
