Hi guys, I am not for sure what I am going to do! I have a Master Caster, with brand new controls and thermo couple. I hade a friend make me side plates for each mould! When i got it it had 40 cal moulds, all the other moulds are brand new RCBS, 9mm, 38, 44, 45acp, 45C, all they need is adding some extentions on the cutter plates, and add a spring between the cutter plate and the bolt head, I took a 1" el bracket and shaped it tack welded it on the cutter plate, put it back onwith a spring and poured some bullets. But I am not going to be shooting as much as I planned!
What do you guys think would be a fare price?
Thanks Greg

Things to consider in pricing.

What is the new cost of the whole outfit?

Is it readily available new? Is the new model improved
significantly over the one for sale?

Are there very many on the market used?

Does it need any parts or repairs to use? If so how much will someone have
to put into it to get it functional?

If items are out of production it can cut two ways. Often orphaned machines
that frequently need parts can be tough to sell, but sometimes a very popular
device that is no longer made increases in price over the "old" new cost.

Seems like they are still available, so probably you are talking about
some significant discount over the new cost of the whole outfit. Maybe
half of new if they are not too popular, up to 75% of new for some stuff.

Of course, on eBay I have seen used items that are identical to the same
item which is still available new, sell for 10-20% above the cost of new.
Pretty weird.

Good luck setting a price.

Bill

We both live in eastern kansas, they still make them, nothing wrong with it, and it takes a long time to get a new one.
