Does anyone know if there is someone making a Belted basic Brass. Meaning a Cylindrical unnecked 30/06 size

I chased this rabbit a few months ago on this forum.. I think CH4d makes a die to put a belt on 30-06 brass .... look for 257 weatherby design ...as far as basic brass, not sure

Interesting thought, would you then have a (roughly speaking) .41cal straightwall case with a belt for headspace, and a standard boltface..Would seem a better solution to the straightwall state requirement. Something to read up on.

I’ve been working on this for a bit 2.3 oal brass , 2.8 coal basically a 405 win on a ar 10 platform 400 plus grain boolits and ability to shoot cast with a roll crimp due to rim

I am making 400 /375 H&H Express cases for a Guy. a 240 Weatherby is Ok. and have made them. It means necking up a 240 case to a neck of .380. then neck down to Form case to shoulder. It works But the Loss rate in expansion is too excessive. Even with period annealing thee cases still split.
reversing the process to neck down a Cylindrical case will be a better choice

My 700 HBH prototype cases had a machined stainless steel base with a threaded in 70-30 brass body.. Essentially i copied these guys... And well, It worked.... http://cartridgecollectors.org/cmo/cmo10jun.htm
