I am presently using a small Hornady branded electronic scale. It works but it is not doing what I want it to do. It turns itself off between uses and requires a lot of time and effort to get it back on line.
I have looked online and there is a blue million scales. Anyone have experience with a ac powered one that will stay online between uses and will be good for weighing small powder charges.
How about a little help guys.

I have that same scale as well as a Hornady LNL electronic bench scale. It works very well for me and most of my loading is from 2.5 to 10 grains.
However you are going to get so many opinions on on this. Good luck.

This is the scale I bought almost twenty years ago. Industrial grade equipment. It is always on and ready to go. It has only been turned off 3-4 times. Holds it zero well and is very repeatable. This scale weighs 10 or 15 pounds, solid, it is built like a tank.

This one is used and sells for a fraction of the new cost of ??? $1,200 or $1,500 or what ever they retail for new.

This is the company that used to advertise in the old Handloader and Rifle before they were in the grocery store magazine rack.

Look at the jewelers scales also. I have a gem pro 250 ( I believe) It reads in 5 different weights and in grains to .02 grains. I bought mine 4-5 years ago and it was just over 100 dollars. Very nice scales battery or ac. back lit read out is large and easy to read. Mine came with case anti vibration pad ac adaptor pan and 1 setting weight.
One handy addition to a new scales is a set of check weights to verify its reading right at where your using it.

They are all DC powered. The ac power is just converted to dc to make them work.
