Try it on one and see how it fits, if the fit looks good test fire it. Unless you find a reference in the SIG web site that says its SIG 1911 specific most 1911 conversion kits will work on any standard 1911 frame. Conversion kits can be fussy as to ammo velocity and bullet nose shape, and even slight variations in frames. Had an Advantage Arms kit that wouldn't work reliably on my Springfield Armory frame, but on my buddy's SA frame worked perfectly.

Here is a PDF I found, they do reference use on Sig 1911's. They also recommend high velocity ammo only, not standard velocity. My Marvel conversion came with 2 sets of springs so that you could use either. One other thing I have noticed about some of these conversions is that not only can they be finicky about ammo, they can also be finicky about magazines.

Here's the PDF:

I will call him and tell him give it a try this conv is new in the box he said the guy isn't very firearms savvy and was not sure he could put it together guess he shouldn't have bought it in the first place. Hey if this thing works on a regular frame that would be great.

The SIG conversion was made by GSG. Some/many were made for the series 80 colt.
They have the firing pin safety in the slide, it has to be removed so the conversion will
work with the older series 70 guns.
Mine functions well on a old after market frame. My only issue is the fixed sights,
front sight is too low and the gun shoots high.

I have the Accurate Arms kit and can tell you that my kit will fit on my 191s in 45 auto and 10 mm. Doesn't fit a 9 mm 1911 frame though.

The ejector on the 1911 9mm does not fit into the 22 slide you have Doc ran into same problem.

This I know, someone on another site was curious whether a 22 kit would fit on a 1911 9mm frame and it just so happened that I have 1911s in 9mm,10mm and 45acp.
