I did a search for the 7x61 S&H, didn't find much.

Anybody have any they're willing to share?

Thanks.

Still looking for cast boolit data, anybody else shoot a 7x61 S&H? Or the 7x61 Norma Super?

I doubt I'd ever use cast bullets in my New Ultra Light Arms 7x61, but if I did, I'd use 7mm Remington Magnum data as a place to begin and maybe reduce starting powder charges minimally if at all, depending on the selected powder. If you have older 7x61 brass that is not stamped "Super", you probably know it's at least fifty years old and has a few grains less capacity than the later (and current) "Super" brass. "Super" brass has only about five grains less water weight capacity than the 7mm Remington Magnum. Pretty small difference if you're dealing with cast loads and powders of moderate burning rates.

Dragging this back from the depths,

Anybody have any more data?

Thanks!

Quickload has the cartridge specs in their database. Pick your bullet, decide on a seating depth, and start trying out powders in the model.

I don't have Quickload, not sure I would get $150 of use out of it, thanks for the suggestion though.

Found some data in old manuals, enough to ring dings for now.

But always on the lookout for more data.

Found this in Cartridges of the world 3rd edition. Does not indicate cast loads.
