I recently acquired a rifle in 43 Mauser and in preparation for reloading I started to research.

I saved the best for last and did a search here and found more and better info here than anything else on line. More load data more intelligent discussion in fact more and better everything.

Thanks to all the good members here for the information, this is the best place to look bar none.

Were it not for the good nature of all of the Members here, their well spring of information, and sincere desire to see success in others, this place would be just "another" forum on line. It is a special place here. A very active place. Everyone that posts here has a small part in helping one another find their way.

I post very little unless it is to buy, sell or trade but my amount of reading from this site is huge. A treasure trove of knowledge.

When I started casting bullets I had one old fellow who taught me how to make a wrinkled bullet from a pot on the wood stove. Load data was an old Lyman manual for smokeless and fill the case for black. I had been casting for over 20 years before I got Paul Matthews book and first tried a paper patch bullet. To me having this much information this handy is like hot and cold running water, a minor miracle.

This forum taught me how to shoot, what to shoot, when to shoot. Thank you.

In case you haven't found out be careful with any CIL headstamped 43 Mauser brass. And yes... this site is pretty awesome!
