Anyone use Lyman #445599? The molds are always drifting through ebay at moderate prices.
Looks like it could be quite nice for target shooting and plinking if an appropriately configured rifle was in hand.
I've pondered getting a drop in barrel to use it and the #445369. RCBS has a similar minie. And the old short hollow bases Lyman produced for percussion revolvers could also be sized down for shorter shooting.
No reason why a light weight sweet handling little muzzleloading "rook" rifle with the advantages of minies with big lube grooves wouldn't make a good shooter in the pasture or across the back yard.
Anyhow, thought I'd ask.
