My LGS has one on the rack in very nice condition.
Didn’t notice the year of manufacture but I know it’s an oldie. Straight stock to boot!
It had the older style rounded lever not like the square levers on modern guns.
$500
If someone is looking for a nice gun at a very reasonable price

I am not affiliated with them in any way shape or form. I just know this is a sweet old rifle and I know the crew here would appreciate it.

Wow...I kinda wish I was on the south shore. I'd check it out but its a bit far for the time I have this week.

I'm not completely fluent in Marlin terminology. I know that the straight stocked 30/30s were called Texans at one point but I thought I remember reading that the term Texan also had to do with the years of production and the older ones were just straight stocked 336s.
I could be wrong. It's happened before : )

Its a model in the line like a CS or a A OR a SC model.
Yea Texans where straight and had a saddle ring. But where 30/30 & 35. Maybe even 32 Id have to check Brophy.
There where other straight stocked guns as well as specail runs. Off topmof my head Texan was all I remembered.
