Prayer request for father in law

My father in law Jack was diagnosed with brain cancer last Nov. and has has 2 surgeries and a lot of different treatments, Jack has fought a good fight but was sent home from the hospital today and is under hospice care. I am asking for prayer for our family and that Jack has minimal pain during this time. Thanks for always being there for each other and I count it all joy to call you all my Brothers and sisters in Christ.

Wow, USMC! This is indeed bad news. I pray for you and your family, and that the Lord will reach down and minimize his pain and suffering. God be with all of you. And I thought I remembered you requesting prayer for him previously. Sometimes God says "No," and when He does, He always has some reason we don't know or can't comprehend, when He does this. Somehow, something good will come of all this, that I'm sure nobody can see just yet. And death is not the "end," it's just a transformation. Yes, we will always hate leaving what we know here, and have come to love, but He never fails us, and going to dwell with Him forever cannot be a "booby prize," but a wondrous gift. And you'll reunite with him one day, in a land where you nor he will ever grow old, and no infirmities will ever plague either of you, and you'll know the most precious happiness and satisfaction that you never knew could possibly exist. God speed to all of you.

We appreciate all the prayers and kind encouraging words, Jack is sleeping all the time now and is given morphine every 2 hours. I appreciate all of you and always hold you all up as well.

Wow, USMC, losing a father is a huge milestone in a man's life. But none of us is here forever, and I'm quite sure, knowing you from the board here, that he's in Heaven with the Lord now, and he'll never be so challenged ever again. He's safe and well in the bosom of the Lord, and looking down, and probably feeling sorry for us here still on the ground. You will meet him again, and never more shall you part from each other.
