for the 500 Linebaugh
I am getting a rifle length barrel made up for the cartridge
already have at my disposal a 475 L, love these rounds
developed by Mr.Linebaugh anyway, was wondering what
weights and configurations those who are familiar with the 500
would recommend.I have a N.O.E 450 gr.RF but am not to keen on
the h.p with these at least for hunting just wanted to know what else
I should be looking for, like what's to light and the heaviest ya'll would use

I have the Accurate 51-450C and it seems to work good for me in my Blackhawk

455gr at 1200fps is a handfull, but when I cut 100gr of the base of those boolits in the lathe and run the 350gr at 1000fps its very pleasant to shoot and still a womper. But I normally just run the 455 at 1050fps.

I would say your best bet is give John a call at "customsixguns" and ask him yourself. If he hears the phone, he'll usually pick right up.

so far I have a 450 gr NOE and a 500 gr Mountain
what is the lightest ya'll would use
I read somewhere that 350 would be to light
mine is coming out of a 22" MGM for my Encore as well
I would not be down loading these and probably use W296
btw what primer so far I have 19 gr of blue dot with a cci 350
these are loaded for the initial run of the barrel will switch and
do powder charge testing when I get the barrel

i guess that 400-425gr boolit is the lightest? i want to try 525-535gr boolit as the heaviest.

i use winchester large pistol primers.
