Does any one know which other brand of bushings will fit the Savage 630. I know that Mec's are too short. Thanks for the info.

Do you have dimensions of them? The outside dimensions are what we need to compare them to others. The typical Hornady bushings are 1.000" tall with the outside diameter of 1.000" for shot bushings and 0.875" for powder bushings.

DM,

Thanks,

I'll measure them tonight when I get home. I do know they are of different diameters.

3D printing can rescue presses that use bushings. Even just one for dimensions can be the start. There are already full sets of MEC busing files online.

New member here. I know the OP is long gone but in case anybody else happens to need the bushing dimensions, here they are:

Powder bushing (FWIW, this bushing throws an average weight of 20.5 grains of Red Dot
Flange diameter: .710"
Flange thickness: .060"
Body diameter: .618"
Overall height: .995"

Shot bushing:
Flange diameter: .870"
Flange thickness: .062"
Body diameter: .777"
Overall height: .987"

Dimensions taken from a Savage "M" powder bushing and a 1 1/8 bushing using 0-6" Mitutoyo dial caliper.
