Looking to buy a Brit #1MKIII or a #4 MKII with shot out corroded barrels. Prefer the #4MKII as I have some parts if I screw up. prefer to still have the wood on it as well as the rest of the ironworks as well. No DP guns need to apply. need viable actions and stocks. Interested in rebarreling for a cartridge called the 37 rimmed which is nothing but the303 British cartridge case ezpanded to take .375 diameter jacketed bullets and .378 cast bullets. Thanks for any help you can provide. In the case of either rifle they can be cutdown stocks and barrels aka bubba specials. Theditchman, nothing so fancy as yours. Probably a 22" long 375 caliber barrel. Heavier than a standard .303 barrel. slicked up standard trigger, glass bed the action and rear of forestock, and probably issued wood. Action is/was still missing stuff like trigger group, safety assembly, trigger guard and screws. But I have two 10 round mags that will feed from a 1942 Long Branch like butter.Slowley but surely getting the bits and pieces. But would like to get a #1MKIII or better yet a #4MKII. Frank
