After!

I used LMF browning solution on the barrel, trigger guard, tang, etc. The locks I polished out to 400 grit then used birchwood casey perma blue and as soon as it was on, scrubbed it off with 0000 steel wool and kept doing it over and over. In the end, the locks came out with beautiful hues of blue and purple to really add some class to the overall look. Stock has a 600 grit sand job and around 10 coats of hand rubbed genuine oil.

I slobbered a little..... Very nice work! I've always wanted a sxs muzzleloading shotgun- they just cost more than I want to pay.

Any spring gobbler would be proud to be kilt with such a fine looking shotgun. Fall grouse probably wouldn't mind it either;)
