ACTIVE: MP Molds 3118 Brass Cramer PB or GC mold

MP Molds 3118 3 Cavity Brass Cramer Plain Base or Gas Check mold Hollow Point mold on the two cavity blocks or a 6 cavity brass solid PB or GC on the four cavity blocks or an 8 cavity solid PB or GC on the aluminum blocks. This is an old Group Buy mold from the Lee era. The dimensions were taken from an old very accurate Ideal mold. This should be "ideal" for all the 32 caliber pistol shooters. It should cast at 0.314" dependent on your alloy and easily sizes smaller. The weight is as shown on the drawing dependent on your alloy of choice.

We will run this (on 2 forums) until we get the number we need (probably 34 HP molds due to current supply conditions) or more, then it is up to MiHec to decide when to make it........ it can be a long time.... be warned and no whining.

I am offering these choices: Brass 3 cavity PBHP, Brass 3 cavity GCHP, Brass 6 cavity PB solid, Brass 6 cavity GC solid, Aluminum 8 cavity PB solid and Aluminum 8 cavity GC solid.

Pins included are: For the Hollow Point Molds are 1) Large HP pin, 2) Medium Penta HP pin, 3) Cup HP pin, 4) Blank pin for a flat nose or in the case you don't want HP pins sticking out the mold.

Prices are:
3 cavity cramer HP's on two cavity brass blocks (110 euros shipped full price) - 93,5 euros with 15% off
I will have to get the other prices.

Sequence of events: Participants order molds and are placed on the list, the Group Buy will close (which will be posted on the thread) at some time determined by MiHec, the molds are made from the orders on the list at the time it is closed or by altering what you want via PM to MiHec after it's closed. Extra molds should be available... order them by PM to MiHec or contacting MP Molds directly . Invoices will be sent out via e-mail from the listed e-mail addresses and you pay by using Paypal...... It is my understanding the invoice will be in Euros which Paypal converts from Euros to dollars dependent on the time that occurs. After you pay, the mold gets shipped.

Prices are somewhat variable due to the exchange rate.... be aware of this.

That’s the beauty of this particular bullet. The ultimate 32-20 design that can be also be sized and used in all the 30 caliber cartridges. Should work great in a 30-30. Looking forward to trying it in a 30 Carbine. Hope it feeds. Also waiting to try this design in the 30 caliber Contender barrels also.

A quick question on this design: Can anyone tell me the diameter of the nose at several points, say .100" and .200" ahead of the crimp groove? I ask because I have several N.O.E., .314" molds that drop bullets that are too fat, and the bullets have to be jammed into the rifling. So I cannot use these molds. Thanks.

With the current medical and political issues. Anything firearms related has been affected. Mold producers like M&P, Accurate and NOE are way behind. For example Tom at Accurate, in the past listed a 10 day turnaround time. Normally it was actually 2-3 days. Last time I looked it was 10 weeks. Resale and auction prices are at a all time high. Watched a buy it now, new 4 cavity M&P go for 249.00 several days ago.

Due to the current situation, business as usual is out the door. As Two Dogs stated, Miha has always managed to fulfill group buys. Now more than ever, one needs a great deal of patience. A quick heads up to Miha wouldn't hurt.
