Help! DVD in PC Tower does not show on Explorer and will not reject.

OK computer gurus. I am ordinarily very tech savvy.

This one has me stumped. Why come to "Cast Boolits" with this Q?

I pushed the button, the CD drawer came out, I loaded a DVD in the driver, and closed the drawer.

It DID NOT fire up. It DID NOT spin the DVD at all. It does not display that drive on Windows Explorer. The drawer WILL NOT OPEN when the button is pushed.

I want to SHOOT IT. Which cast boolit would do the greatest damage?

Bottom line, how do I get it open?

Take a paperclip and straighten it out then there should be a small hole just below the cd/dvd slot that you can manually open the drawer with.

If there wasn't already a hole in it, I would shoot the DVD. But from 100 yards, the Ruger 45 Colt, and my luck, the Lyman 454190 x 255 grain RNFP cast boolit would probably pass right through the hole in the middle without a scratch (hehe). It is when you are TRYING to break it, miracles occur...
