The Bisley made it to me and am getting a things adjusted the way I like.
Put in a spring kit , reshaped the grips a bit , widened the rear sight notch , put some bright fingernail polish on the front sight.
I have fired 200 Berry’s 240 FP , with red dot 5.1 grains. and and ready to work up some cast. I am liking it a lot.
This is one of my better groups I usually sneak in at least one flier
Off hand at seven yards , when I start working up cast loads I will shoot off the bench at 25.

Nice gun and nice shooting! I haven’t heard a bad word about that model. I went all in with .45c years ago, but it is guns like that, that have me re-thinking my decision.

The 45 is one of my favorites this 44 is going to have to shoot really good to match my flattop convertible , it looks like it might.

I have to keep telling myself, "you don't need another revolver, you don't need another revolver, YOU DON'T NEED ANOTHER REVOLVER!"

You're not making it any easier to convince myself! That is a sweetheart! It's already obvious you will enjoy it.

Ha , that sounds like what I went trough for a couple months.
I have a 44 mag I don’t need it , my 45 colt flat top about the same thing I don’t need it , but I never had a Bisley and the only 44 spec. was a CA bulldog many years ago (might need another now :veryconfu) Bottom line it’s not about need it’s about FUN :bigsmyl2:

If I'm buying a rifle or shotgun, I ponder whether or not I need it.
Revolvers bring me joy. Need is never factored into the equation.

Nice Bisley.
I shoot quite a few .44 Specials, but I only have a Super Blackhawk.
I want to eventually get a .44 Special only revolver. And I'm sure it will be another Ruger.

I am not sure I did not find many online with the 45/8 barrel buds websight had the note “less than 5 in stock” when I looked the other day they had the 51/2 but no 45/8

Nice revolver. I have the blued 4 5/8 variant. I like 5.5 gr. of Red Dot with 200-210 gr. boolits.

Thanks , I like the looks of the blued better but the stainless is sure easy to live with.
I like Red Dot I need to try some lighter bullets in the special my 44 molds are 250 and 268gc
I just got a 1000 240 coated in the mail , the co. I buy coated from has either 180 or 200 grain.
Gonna give them a try next time.

Ruger ever make this gun in .357?

They made or make a 357 Bisley Vaquero but I am not sure about the flattop Bisley in 357.
Perhaps someone who knows will tell us.
