:)
Are any of you folks using the product, FLITZ. If so could you recommend some projects where it would come in handy . I have used it to polish reloading dies and related items.
Trying to justify buying a 2 pound container of it.

Polish ugly oxidised nickle pocket watch cases... Any solid metal object. But real real careful with plated items.
Coat Boolits and unruff a barrel.

I use it on all of my guns, it doesn't take the blueing off and it gives them protection. I don't oil the exterior of my guns I just work them over with flitz and I don't seem to have any problems with rust.
Also used it to clean the barrel before I got some JB compound.
It seems to be a lesser abrasive than the JB cleaner or the polish.
I use it on my pool balls to clean them.
I also used it on an old tractor to see what it would do to the paint and it worked pretty good, made it nice and shiny.
I have the 2lb can so I use it on almost anything.

I recently used it to shine up my Uberti 1866 with brass receiver.

I have a Rem 870 that I stored in a case for over a decade (no foolin') and when I found it, it had a coat of very light rust on the barrel (think light paint overspray). Fltz polished it right off and left blueing completely intact. I'm sold!!! ...Bill

Makes me wonder if it might be good for lapping or breaking in a new rifle bore ?
Has anyone had success with this use?
Maybe 2 lbs wouldn't be enough.:-D
