Last fall, #2 son drug a old #118 H & G mould in and I had to tweak it and cast a few. This looks like a Lyman.Ideal 452309 except is a little lighter....219+ grains. Cast good as I expected from an H & G.
I finally loaded my stash of 66 rounds over 6.0 grains of Unique and broke out the new to me Chrony.
They clocked an average velocity of 1037 FPS out of my Blackhawk convertible with the .45 ACP cylinder and I was able to right the railroad plates at 50 yards on a regular basis.
Needs more shooting but I beleive this would be a shooter in the .45 ACP revolvers and maybe the autos as well if it will feed.
