Interesting. How big are those ingots?

Melting at 158 degrees? Sounds like cerrosafe which is useful stuff. Or you could sell it to someone with a shot dripper for making water fowl shot.

Not sure Bismuth will alloy with lead? Surely someone on here knows.

Pulled up Belmont spec sheet
Bismuth 50
Lead 26.7
Tin 13.3

They make "fusible link alloy" for fire sprinkler systems. There are different temp ranges. 158° is about in the middle of the range.
I would like to get some for making chamber molds. Probably a lot cheaper than cerrosafe.

I'm not sure how useful those would be but they are sure interesting. Interesting enough that I would keep one of them.

I make sinkers too and it shrinks Just enough that the sinkers fall out of the mold but I really had to mix it with a Lotta lead

Cerrosafe is expensive, but it is reusable, and has known shrinkage or predictability for measuring chambers.

I'd be a bit concerned about the Cadmium. The blend you have does contain 10% and it's a cancer causing agent. Personally...I wouldn't mess with it....but that's just me.

It’s worth about $20 per pound.

That is expensive and useful material but it contains the very poisonous cadmium. It is easy to use it as a low temp casting alloy and maintain control of the cadmium but I would not shoot it into the environment.
