Lost my bookmarks for sources of hard to find parts. Brownells and Gun Parts Corp do not have what I need. Looking for an ejector rod, blued, ejector washer, factory grips, and pawl for a friends security six. Gun has been road hard and put up wet. Was his first service piece, and now wants to try to restore it. Not sure HOW he bent the ejector rod. He also asked who would be able to do a re-bluing job on it. Guys I used to know that did bluing have either quit, or retired. Thanks for any help or hints at sources.

Look on gunbroker under revolver parts kits. I just got a whole revolver minus the frame for $35.

The security six is a great gun, but they can be hard to find parts for. It took me six months to find a cylinder catch spring for mine. Best I can tell you is to do a bunch of internet searches and see what comes up.

Ron Lutz in Pa. He's a great Ruger DA gentleman. Lutz Guns. I'll talk to him tomorrow and he'll be along here.
