Has anyone heard any review or shot the Henry Long Ranger Lever action in .308 yet?

I think American Rifleman shot one, though it may have be in 243 Winchester. Look on the NRA web site.

Check over on the Henry Rifle Forum - I'm guessing there would be some threads on it in 308 or it doesn't take long to join the forum and you could post an inquiry.

JEM, I have had a Long Ranger in .308 for about a year. I have Model 88's, a steel frame BLR and the Henry Long Ranger all in .308. I like the Henry the best. Mine feeds and functions great and the trigger is years above the Browning BLR and 88. I mounted a Leupold 2x7 Freedom on it and deer hunted this year with it a little. Accuracy is a strong inch for 3 shot groups. I have not tinkered a lot with it but will see how good it does latter this year.
I had to go to small base dies for smooth functioning. No problems at all with factory.

Am kind of waiting for them to introduce a takedown version. Would be cool to have .308, 7-08, and 6.5CM barrels for it.
