I am in need of an inner magazine tube for a Savage Revelation 160 series A.

Can anyone tell me for sure if this one will work? https://www.gunbroker.com/item/816043994

If not any guidance as to where and what to look for would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Look at the "store brand" crossover list in the Gun Parts Corp. Catalog- then find your tube in the Savage/Stevens/Springfield listings.

Didn't know about that, thanks. Just checked it and no luck.

Your rifle is listed in the cross-reference list as a Savage Model 187

If you googled "Savage Model 187 parts for sale", you would have found Wisner's - who has the magazine tube you need..

In fact, Wisner's carries two different styles - one with a metal follower and the other with a plastic follower

Wisner's part number is 5-725 or part number A87-160, and the cost for either is $24, HERE: http://www.wisnersinc.com/model/savage-semi-auto-rimfire/

Thank you. Admittedly my googlefu was weak on this search. I had never heard of Wisner's, going to get one ordered today.

Buy the blank parts from Brownells, cut and drill and viola! Mag tube! they are easy to fabricate if you have ends otherwise buy the ends too.
