Stopped in at Bud's gun shop today and was going to buy me a new Ruger but they didn't have the one I wanted in stock, I'll have to go back Wednesday and pick it up. Hopefully I will have better luck with this one than I have had with my 50th Anniversary Blackhawk 44 mag.

The stainless SUPER is one of the workhorses of hand guns.

I like the DRAGOON/HUNTER grip frames (or the BISLEY) but prefer a 5.5 inch barrel for easier carry....re John Taffin's Perfect Packin' Pistols concept. There's a few of them in the safe with either DRAGOON/HUNTER or BISLEY grip frames and either BLACKHAWK or Original Size VAQUERO formats.

The only modifications you need are a trigger job by a competent gun smith and possibly custom grips and a BOWEN target rear sight. They make a good gun better.
