Spent a chunk of the day mowing the yard, lots of thinking time. Actually was pondering Dad's brother (deceased) and his two daughters, a family I have long since lost touch with. In general just kinda lonely. Came in to cool off and my daughter called from Corpus, en route back from a barrel race. I really miss those days with her and my wife. Then my son showed up with wife and those two bad *** little boys. Checked the camera card and the pigs are back so we're planning a hunt next week. It's wonderful knowing I am not alone.GW

Isaiah 46:3-4. Sometimes we can't even the pray right thing, but then the Spirit of God within us cries out and the Father hears us without us saying a word. What a wonderful answer to your unspoken prayer!

How many times has He spoken to me simply by opening the book. Moved to read the above scripture and my bible fell open to Ps28:14. As my Irish cousins often say "God bless all here." GW

I only post rarely in the chapel now days, but I do stop in to gather hope and leave prayers. Thank you for reminding me of how God cares for us. I'm ashamed of my lack of faith that he will see me through sometimes. He worked a mighty work to me this past week. He showed me once again his mighty hand! God is good all the time! Praise God! Praise God!

GW I hope you don't mind my adding praise to your thread. Thank you for the reminder!

We don’t know how to pray as we should. But the Spirit is not ignorant—and he prays for us according to perfect knowledge. He prays with “groanings too deep for words” (Rom. 8:26Open in Logos Bible Software (if available)). A better way to translate this is “wordlessly.” The Spirit pleads on our behalf in longings that are inexpressible in words. This is non-verbal prayer. The prayer ministry of the Holy Spirit—his groaning for us—is silent.

Isaiah 46:3-4. Sometimes we can't even the pray right thing, but then the Spirit of God within us cries out and the Father hears us without us saying a word. What a wonderful answer to your unspoken prayer!

GW, we cannot fathom or understand how He works.

No matter what happens, we can trust in Him and His love for us.

I miss My Family a lot. Lost My Sister just about a year ago this month. Now I'm alone. Got a Daughter, she'll probably never have kids. Cousin's never had kids. Lost My Boy in Afghanistan 12 years ago this past March. My Brother's all died way too young, no kids.

Sorry, maudlin in my old age.
