Yup, I had a S&W 686 looked NEW in my hands today for $399 at the local gun show and passed it up for a S&W K-22 Masterpiece for the $390. I have been looking for a good 686 for a while but that K-22 price was just too nice for me to pass up...back to looking for a 686 or Ruger GP100:Fire:

Wonderwolf, I think you made the right choice.

Ya did good, Wolfie. I was "up in the air" over a 5.5 inch stainless 44 VAQUERO for $425 or a K-22 with the half lug barrel for $75 more. I went back and the K-22 was gone the next day...the VAQUERO got put in lay-away until I came back from vacation (The trigger is terrible compared to the 3 pounds minus on the guns that Jim Stroh tuned for me!)

You'll never have enough money to get them all. BUT I do have a 22 SUPER SINGLE SIX and a 22 BISLEY until I find another K-22. I've got almost 40 years of less than brilliant gun decisions to regret!

:Fire::cbpour::redneck:

PS A 6 inch K-22 Masterpiece with a good trigger is just slightly less accurate than if it was equipped with radar. I've had 3 of them so far...maybe a 6 inch 617 next?

Yep, Just looked and the same deal was sold on TFL to a member there for 250 bucks! Think something is fishy with this one. Im glad you didnt buy it Mike because I think some good people got burnt on this one.:Fire:
