I just took out my new bfr in 500 s&w it is a hell of a pistol and really tames down the 500

to get a 500 Linebaugh has been on my bucket list for quite some time
now I can get one for under 6000.00 bucks

Naw. Too close to the same thing as my 475 Linebaugh. I would like to shoot one with theBisley grip though.

Do tell about the bear. My SIL stops feeding the deer in the spring about the time the bears come out. They even take in the bird feeders at night now. There's no feeder pole made strong enough that the bears don't pull down. I made a half hearted attempt at a bear last season but should have made more effort. The local bunch of guys who always drive our place off went through it 3 times because they were seeing bears out there.

I have a BFR in 30/30, and 454, no 500 yet. I would probably get it in 500 s+w, as I picked up alot of brass, in that flavor, at the range.
