Armaloy is simply hard chrome plating; there are several places that perform it under the Armaloy name. Run a web search. A good option is Mahovsky's Metalife.

My only experience with the Armaloy process is with Mahovsky's operation, and then only one item, but he has a great reputation. "Back in the day," the hot setup for action pistol semi-autos was to have the frame finished with Armaloy and a blued slide. Not too sure whether it really added anything to performance or durability, but they sure did look slick! As a matter of fact, I still have an unfinished Para Ord project gun whose wide body lower is just begging me to be sent to Mahovsky for his care. 8-)

The Armoloy Company of Fort Worth still does firearms, and they have been doing it for decades. Otherwise, I'd go with Mahovsky.
