I had a friend pass this along to me and I wanted to share it with those here . . . as I know a number like to keep chickens. I'm not showing this to my wife as I'm afraid she might try it on me! LOL

Interesting and humorous. . . .

Not a bad trick...
My daddy would hypnotize them with a head shot from his .22. They never recovered, though.

Considering that democrats and chickens have the same size brains - that explains a lot.

Don't erase the line! Or think the 1st and 2nd amendments are for everyone and not just socialists. Both will give you the same reaction[smilie=b:

Grandma showed me that trick when I was young. Though after she put their head she would make a couple of circles while holding them. They would be out for a while.

My Grand Paw just lopped the head off with a big old butcher knife he had made just for chicken dispatching. He wasn't about to waste a 22 shell on no dumb chicken ... it was my little brother and myself who's job it was to catch the chicken, the adults got a hoot out of us running down and catching Sunday Dinner's main course ....that would have been on you tube if you tube had been invented back in 1957 .
Grand Maw could sure fry up some good chicken !

Just taught my nephew how to do this last week when my sister in law saw this video and didnt believe it was true! I remember doing it years back when my youngest brother was about 7, we were all standing around after butchering the hogs for the year and decided to show him how to hypnotize a chicken. That was the first year he really started to understand that somehow the pigs weren't getting a fair deal for their part in the slaughter, so when we hypnotized a chicken he cried because he thought we had killed one of "his" chickens too! He got a kick out of it though once we showed him no harm done.

My dad would use a piece of chalk to draw a line on the floor.
