Lyman 61 questions

1. When I tried the bottom pour I got dripping. Cleaned the nozzle and drop rod and still get drips. Get a strange medley of crude collecting on the drop rod and a rainbow of colors. Anyone know what's going on?

2. When I got the pot the nozzle was plugged with a screw. I suspect the nozzle is shot. Can it be replaced? If so does anyone have one to sell?

Those are nice looking pots, have a very similar pour mechanism to the original RCBS Pro Melt and they work really well. I would contact Lyman, but bet the odds are against you.

I have coated the vertical drop rod with valve grinding compound, chucked it into my variable speed battery drill and let the drill help clean and seat the rod to the spout. I have had some success with this method, but it is a little slow going.
